Hello Showstoppers Families!
I am the owner/director/instructor of Showstoppers Dance Studio. I have owned Showstoppers for the last 28 years but have been a member since it opened 42 years ago. I have danced since I was 3 years old. I continued the love of dance throughout high school, Delta College and at UOP until I graduated in 1996 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. I have been teaching at Showstoppers since I was 13 years old, and in 1998, I bought the studio and became the sole owner, director and instructor. I have been married for 29 years and have two wonderful sons. Along with myself. Eric McCoy, Sydney, Lily, Alivia, Sadie, Audrey, Logan, Allie and Parker we are the instructor and/or assistants for the 2026-2027 season. I pride myself on the fact that we know each student and their family, because that is what SDS is…. Family! I hope every student that enters Showstoppers leaves with more self-confidence, passion, kindness and love of dance. Always dance with Heart & Soul and show everyone Kindness!
Eric McCoy-
Hip Hop Instructor
Eric comes to us once a week from LA to teach hip hop. This is his 5th full season teaching all our hip hop classes, but his 7th year with SDS. He is a knowledgeable and talented dancer and choreographer in his field. The dancers love his fun personality and his creative choreography. He choreographed all our competition pieces last season and is taking on more Company Team routines this season! WE are so lucky to have Mr. Eric!!
He has worked on the cast of Disney’s Shake it Up, along with Rosero McCoy, Richy Jackson, Toni Braxton, Keke Palmer and Shanice. He also has worked with Snoop Dogg, Nickelodeon and Netflix. He was a performer at the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show. the 2020 Soul Train Awards, 2020 Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade, 2020 VMA Awards, the American Music Awards. He was also a dancer in the Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande “Rain on Me” music video. He along with Monica have two beautiful children. He is a founding member of The Knuckleheads. I am so excited that he will continue as a part of the SDS staff.

3rd Year Assistant
Sydney has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 14 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, pointe, contemporary, tumbling and lyrical. She is a Teen member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is a junior at Lodi High School. She will be an assistant on Monday', Tuesday and Thursday helping with our ballet, lyrical, Company Team classes and assisting Mr. Eric with hip hop. We are so excited to welcome her back!!
Sydney would like to say, “I’m super excited to be able to work and help out with so many amazing kids, through the art of dance, this year! I can’t wait to build strong connections and help kids find a love for dance by sharing my own passion for the art!”

2nd Year Assistant
Lily has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 11 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, tumbling and lyrical. She is a Teen member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is also a sophomore at Lodi High School. She will be an assistant on Wednesday helping with our tap/jazz classes and our Petite Company Team. We are so excited to have Lily assisting again this year.
Lily would like to say, “I have been dancing at Showstoppers since I was 4 years old, and I am so excited to help out, and inspire the next group of stars!”

2nd year Assistant
Alivia has been dancing at Showstoppers Dance Studio for going on 8 years. She has trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, tumbling and lyrical. She is a Teen member of our SDS Competition Company Team. She is a freshman at Lodi High School. She will be an assistant on Tuesday helping with our jazz and Petite Company Team. We are thrilled to have Alivia assisting again this year.
Alivia would like to say, "I’m so excited to be someone the younger dancers can look up to! Not just for dancing, but for smiles, encouragement, and fun. I can’t wait to bring energy, kindness, and positivity into every class and help create a space where they feel confident and supported!"
